  My axle boot blew a mile away from them in the middle of a cross country drive. 4 hours and $900 later, I was back on the road. A pain in the ass of a day for me but they were kind & reasonable. They understood I wasn't in the best financial spot and moved me through with minimal expense. Can't compare to others in the area but they saved me that day and were as hospitable as they could be.

  Our neighbor suggested Barrett Automotive for all our vehicle needs. We have two volkswagens to care for, and Barrett provides fast, professional service with helpful communication and more than fair prices.  They take the time to explain any work being done to the vehicles, and they listen to our concerns. I highly recommend Barrett Automotive for all your vehicle's needs.
Update:  after an oil change for one of our diesel cars, the oil change reminder came on repeatedly.  We could not reset it. Barrett told us to bring it in. They found a code for inferior oil quality. They performed another oil change with the appropriate oil for the car at no cost to us. Then they asked us to bring in our other diesel car and they performed the same service, again, at no charge, just to be certain that both cars had what they needed. That's great service and displays how important it is to them to give good service and keep their customers satisfied. Thank you.

  Something was wrong with the power to my battery on my car, they were able to find the cause (a loose bolt and poor wire connection) and fix it fairly quickly, cost for that repair was about 150$. I am no expert but that seems reasonable for what they did, they were also very friendly and straightforward about what was wrong and what they fixed.
